in fall 2022, i worked with the team at hstl productions to conceptualize big ideas for the celebration of amazon prime video’s premiere of ‘catherine called birdy.’ the film, written and directed by lena dunham, tells the story of lady catherine (known as birdy)—a 14-year-old girl navigating puberty all while rebelling against societal and family expectations in medieval england.

pretty iconic, if you ask me.

our vision—a *renaissance faire-inspired immersive experience at the grove in los angeles called birdyfest, complete with entertainment, keepsakes, food, lots of photo ops for the influencer girlies, and a screening of the film.
